OVERVIEW

Dental assistants are the heartbeat of every successful dental practice. This practical, interactive one-day course has been designed to help you build confidence, strengthen your clinical skills, and enhance the vital role you play within the dental team.

 
Through hands-on demonstrations, real-world scenarios and expert-led sessions, you'll gain the latest knowledge in infection prevention and control, surgical set-up, four-handed dentistry, ergonomics, communication and teamwork. You'll also explore practical strategies to support your own health and wellbeing while delivering outstanding patient care.
 
Whether you're new to the profession or an experienced dental assistant, you'll leave with practical techniques, greater confidence, and skills you can implement in your practice immediately. Join colleagues from across the profession for a day of learning, networking and professional development that recognises and celebrates the essential contribution of dental assistants.
 
The session is primarily designed for dental assistants, but OHTs, practice managers, sterilisation staff and other clinical support team members would also benefit, especially if they are involved in clinical setup, infection prevention, instrument handling, surgical support or day-to-day workflow.
