Dry Mouth: Implications and Management Strategies

Course Information

Dry mouth is a condition characterised by the sensation of insufficient saliva in the mouth. This can lead to oral discomfort and difficulty speaking or swallowing. There is an increased risk of decay and gum disease, and it can be associated with a number of medical and autoimmune conditions. This seminar aims to provide a comprehensive review of dry mouth, including its causes, complications, and management strategies, with an emphasis on the role of the dental team in prevention and treatment.

Facilitated by Dr Jane Boroky (St Peters Dental Clinic), with over 30-year experience in hospital, community and private practice including the provision of salivary gland biopsies for diagnostic purposes, you will learn plenty of tips to better manage patients suffering from dry mouth.
This seminar is for the whole dental team, and we welcome attendance from Private practice and SA Dental staff - please come and join us!
