Course Information

Limited Places Available - This CPD program provides general dentists with a comprehensive, practical understanding of contemporary endodontics—from diagnosis and case selection through to safe canal negotiation, instrumentation, root filling and management of procedural errors. Delivered through two theory webinars and a full-day hands-on workshop, the course focuses on predictable techniques for curved and calcified canals, MB2 location, and complication management, including ledge bypassing and perforation repair.

Learning Outcomes
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
• Diagnose pulpal and periapical pathoses confidently
• Assess case difficulty using recognised criteria
• Design safe access cavities for all tooth types
• Locate and negotiate canals, including MB2 and calcified systems
• Shape canals predictably using rotary/reciprocating instrumentation
• Perform safe and effective root filling techniques
• Prevention and management of procedural errors such as ledges, fractured instruments, and perforations

Please note that this workshop is for fully qualified and registered dentists exclusively

Participants must bring pre-sterilised maxillary molars (1–2 recommended). All natural teeth must be correctly sterilised (soaked in 10% formalin for at least 2 weeks prior to use is best practice) and stored in a labelled jar.
Mount extracted teeth in plasticine/ play dough to allow for removal of tooth
Standard orientation radiograph of teeth being treated
Bring loupes and lights (if available)
