A new adverse event reporting module has been launched, funded by the Therapeutic Goods Administration and Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care, the one-hour activity counts toward self-directed CPD.
Counting towards self-directed CPD learning activities and hosted by the Australian Commission on Quality and Safety in Health Care, the module outlines why health professionals should report adverse events, what they should report, and how to report.
According to the module introduction:
"Key features of this learning activity include a detailed explanation of why it's important to report adverse events, how to report and what to report. The units explain what happens to reports once they are submitted to the TGA and how they are used to improve safety for all Australians."
