Course Information
To ensure maximum hands-on time in the University of Adelaide University Dental Simulation Clinic, there will be 2 pre-requisite webinars prior to the event. The webinars provide the necessary foundations for the hands-on workshop.
Participants are to:
•Bring extracted teeth - the more teeth the better! All natural teeth must be correctly sterilised (soaked in 10% formalin for at least 2 weeks prior to use) and stored in a labelled jar.
•Mount extracted teeth in plasticine/ play dough to allow for removal of tooth
•Standard orientation radiograph of teeth being treated
•Bring loupes (and lights if available) on the day.

Endodontics can be a technically demanding aspect of dentistry. However, with the continued advancement of technology, the predictability of treatment can be enhanced, along with your enjoyment in providing it. The aim of this is to update participants with some of these advancements and provide useful and practical tips to enhance practitioner’s confidence when undertaking root canal treatment
