However, Guild Insurance regularly manages claims where complaints are lodged about the professional conduct and behaviour of dentists. In some of these cases, there’s been no adverse clinical outcome, yet the dentist’s actions have still been investigated. This session will use claims data and the updated Code of conduct to discuss the sorts of behaviours which leads to complaints and what can be done differently to avoid these.
